We have been at Rach Vem, the fishing village travellers know as Starfish Beach, for more than ten years, through the ups and downs of this coast. Come for fresh seafood, a table over the open sea or a speedboat trip to Ham Rong to see the starfish. We source our seafood from local fishermen and keep it fresh in the pens. If you are ever at Rach Vem, come by and say hello!

Canoe service
Our speedboat runs from Nha Be Khanh Hao to Ham Rong to see the starfish. Pick-up is 08:30–17:30 and the last boat back is at 17:30; the actual departure still depends on the weather and sea conditions on the day.

Nha Be Khanh Hao has welcomed guests since 30/4/2016. From the early days, when we had very little, to now, we are still at Rach Vem, looking after the floating restaurant, running the kitchen, welcoming guests and trying to do a little better each day. It now has 7 connected platforms with 48 tables.
Getting to Nha Be Khanh Hao
Nha Be Khanh Hao is in Rach Vem fishing village, north Phu Quoc - About 30 minutes’ drive from Duong Dong.
About 30 minutes from Duong Dong
Take the Suoi Cai - Ganh Dau road to the Hoa Hao Buddhist office in Ganh Dau. Most of the way is a good road.
Turn onto the road to Rach Vem beach
About 1.9 km, 7 minutes to go - The hardest stretch, on red dirt road. Drive slowly.
Reach the sea, turn left
When the road reaches the sea, turn left and drive to the end of the road.
Park at the Nha Be Khanh Hao parking area
The parking area is right in front of the border guard station gate. If you booked ahead, read out your Booking code so staff can match your request.
